The National Rejoin March has been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday 22nd October 2022

Join us on the National Rejoin March as thousands of people from all over the UK and beyond march together to show that we want the UK to rejoin the EU.

The damage being done by Brexit mounts with each passing day. Liz Truss’s Government appears set on making the situation worse rather than better with policies that will erode our rights, standards and protections and erect even higher barriers between the UK and our friends and neighbours in the EU. It is time to make a stand against their damaging and dangerous agenda.

We know that rejoining the EU is a long term project, but we need to start campaigning now so that in future we can make it a reality.

Book tickets on Cambridge Coach to the National Rejoin March.

We have organised a coach to and from London (itinerary below). Standard tickets cost £20, and concession tickets cost £5.

Tickets for the coach can be bought on Eventbrite.

The coach has space for one wheelchair in the seating area, and room to store more in the hold.

The coach has an onboard toilet.

Travelling to the march by coach can make it easier to transport bulky items such as banners, flag polls and placards, and give campaigners an opportunity to meet and chat on the way down and back.

Itinerary

On the morning of Saturday 22 October our coach will collect passengers from:

  • Queens Road (A1134) Coach Bays next to Queen’s College, CB3 9ET – Departing 08:30.
  • Trumpington Park & Ride, Hauxton Road, Cambridge CB2 9FT – Departing 08:45.

You will be able to indicate which stop you will be at when booking your ticket.

The coach will drop us near Madame Tussauds in central London, from where it is an easy 15 minute walk to Park Lane.

Cambridge for Europe members travelling to the march by train and coach can meet beside the Animals in War memorial on Park Lane (towards the Marble Arch end of Park Lane, at W1K 7QF) between 11:00 and 11:30. At 11:30 we’ll set off to join the main march.

The main march will gather from 12:00, and set off towards Parliament Square at about 13:00. There will then be speeches in Parliament Square until about 16:00.

After the march the coaches will pick us up at 17:00 sharp at Temple Place, WC2R 2PG (just off Victoria Embankment/A3211, next to Temple tube station) and return to Cambridge for approximately 19:00.

If you are a wheelchair user or have any other access requirements please email us at info@cambridgeforeurope.org.uk to discuss them before booking your ticket.

Get ready to march!

Remember to bring layers of clothes and sun cream, plenty of drinks and snacks, and to wear comfortable footwear, as we will be on our feet for several hours.

So bring your flags and banners, your blue and yellow badges, hats and T-shirts, your musical instruments, whistles and drums, and join thousands to tell our political representatives and the country as a whole that we can and we must rejoin the EU.
