Cambridge for Europe invites you to join us for a discussion about the future of the European Movement UK with its vice chair Molly Scott Cato, which will be followed by our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
This talk and AGM will be held in room GS4 in the Donald McIntyre Building, Faculty of Education,184 Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 8PQ on Wednesday 19 April 2023.
This event is free to attend, but we encourage attendees to make a donation when registering to help fund our future events and campaign activities.

All are welcome to stay for our AGM to hear about our activities over the past year and our future plans. Only Cambridge for Europe members will be able to vote or stand for election to our committee. Our constitution describes the rules governing our AGM and the election of Committee members. Very limited parking is available at the Faculty of Education, for which we will prioritise those with impaired mobility. Car parking is available at the Cambridge Leisure Park, which is about 5 minutes walk from the Faculty of Education. Several bus routes stop near to the Faculty of Education, and cycle racks can be found at the front and back of the Donald McIntyre Building.
About Molly Scott Cato
Molly Scott Cato was Green MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar, first elected in May 2014 and re-elected in 2019. Before her election as an MEP, she was Professor of Strategy and Sustainability at the University of Roehampton. She speaks for the Green Party on finance and the EU, and is known for her work in the field of co-operative studies.
Molly will discuss her experiences as an MEP, her current role as Vice Chair of the European Movement UK, why the EU is important to her, and her vision for the future of the UK in Europe. It will also be an opportunity to discuss the European Movement’s wider strategy and the role of local branches such as Cambridge for Europe in it.
