About the talk

The tide is turning for ‘Rejoin’ rapidly. Some polls showing that a referendum held now would see 63% for rejoining the EU versus 37% for staying out. It is far more dramatic amongst the youth, will some polls putting 18-24-year-olds at 86% for rejoin. But with the major UK-wide political parties avoiding the topic at every turn, how does this sea-change in mood get actualised into joining the EU again? How do we ensure that this new drive for membership stays energetic, topical and does not get stuck half-way like Norway or Switzerland? Strategy, momentum, visibility and resources all have parts to play in how we collectively build a popular wave back to EU membership.
