On Sunday 2nd September there will be an event in Cambridge to celebrate the People’s Vote Campaign in the East of England, and to launch the next critical phase of the campaign when we will persuade our MPs to back a People’s Vote on Brexit when they debate the Government’s deal later this Autumn.

This will be big, we expect it to attract hundreds of pro-EU campaigners from across the region, from St. Albans to Great Yarmouth. Many of us have been out campaigning for a People’s Vote since April, but as the summer draws to a close this is a chance to bring activists across the region together to crank our campaign to stop Brexit up a notch or three as it enters its most critical phase.
The event will involve speeches by representatives from all walks of life from across the East of England, joined by leading national political and public figures who will express why they support a People’s Vote on the Brexit deal. Information will be shared about the People’s Vote and why it matters to the East of England and how supporters can join the campaign.
The venue will be announced to ticket holders close to the day of the event. Doors will open at 12:30 and close at 2 pm, with the event itself lasting for one hour (2:30-3:30 pm). Please note that this event is standing room only (please advise of any access needs when registering).
A cloakroom facility will be available for leaving coats and bags at £2 per item. A bar will be open and light food will be available to purchase, 12:30-5 pm.
